# Claude Motion, on any plan: turn a doc into motion.

Anthropic's Motion beta is limited to Team and Enterprise. MotionKit teaches the coding agent you already run to do the same job: write the animation as code, let you edit it, and render MP4 on your own computer. It also builds interactive decks and PowerPoint from the same content.

Independent product. Not affiliated with Anthropic.

All of it is real output: the launch film is cut from the example videos below and rendered with HyperFrames the same way, the showreel is cut from example projects in the pack, and each style tab plays its full 28-second example. All 37 styles are in the gallery below. Sample data.

## No new app. You just ask.

Install once, then hand your agent a file. It drafts a storyboard, picks a style and builds the video. The first run opens your browser to sign in: one click, no key to paste.

Works with Claude Code · Codex · Cursor · OpenCode · Antigravity · Kimi

The chat above is an illustration of the workflow, not a recording.

## What do you want to make?

Pick the kind of job. You see finished videos made for it, and each one shows the sentence that asks your agent for the same thing.

### Teach and explain

Lesson, Training, Explainer, How-to, School news. 25 examples.

### Report and review

Report, Public report, Retro, Plan, Recap. 26 examples.

### Launch and update

Launch, Changelog, Customer update, Patch notes, Product tour. 26 examples.

### Pitch and decide

Pitch, System design, Design review, Strategy, Brand story. 27 examples.

## Three steps. Your agent does the work.

### Drop in your content

A report, a script, lesson notes or a changelog. The agent reads all of it and keeps numbers exactly as written.

### Approve the storyboard and style

You see every scene before anything is built, and pick one of 37 looks or let the agent choose.

### Edit, then render

Retime scenes on a timeline or ask for changes in plain words. Export MP4 when it looks right.

## 37 looks, each a complete working video

Every style ships with its own fonts, layout rules, motion profile and a full example project your agent copies and rewrites. Hover a card to play it.

### Paper Editorial

Warm paper, a serif headline and one rust accent. Unhurried, like a magazine feature.

### Blueprint

Deep navy grid with cyan linework. Everything is drawn as an outline and wipes on like a plotter.

### Kinetic Poster

Black stage, condensed type at poster scale and one acid colour. Words land hard and fast.

### Quiet Keynote

A pale stage, generous space and calm numbers on white cards. One figure owns each frame.

### Chalk Lesson

A green board with handwritten headings and a yellow highlight. Steps are written out one by one.

### Ledger

White page, mono figures and a single green for growth. Built so charts stay readable.

### Terminal

A charcoal terminal window in mono with a green prompt. Lines print in steps, like real output.

### Sunrise

A coral-to-violet wash with rounded white type. Friendly and bright, with a springy entrance.

### Glass

A pale stage with soft colour in the air and frosted white panels. Calm, expensive-looking, lots of room.

### Midnight

Near-black canvas, hairline borders, tight type and a single lavender glow. Precise and quiet.

### Pixel

Warm cream with orange-to-yellow blocks and square corners. Everything arrives in steps, like pixels lighting up.

### Aubergine

Deep purple with warm yellow and chat-bubble panels. Friendly and conversational, like a message from a colleague.

### Graph Paper

A light technical grid, mono type and one green for the result that matters. Reads like a careful lab notebook.

### Pastel Shapes

Cream paper, playful pastel geometry and mixed round and square shapes. Collaborative and slightly off-grid.

### Signal

Deep black with a slashing red band and heavy white type. Urgent and impossible to skim past.

### Harbor

Deep navy type on pale surfaces with one confident indigo. Trustworthy and tidy, with a soft gradient across the top.

### Newsprint

Off-white paper, black serif headlines and one red rule. Reads like a front page.

### Botanical

Cream paper, sage green and a serif that takes its time. Calm, with watercolour pictures.

### Neon Night

Midnight blue with magenta light. Loud headings, glowing edges, built for a dark room.

### Clay

Warm beige with terracotta and soft round shapes. Friendly without being childish.

### Riso Print

Warm white paper printed in blue and fluorescent pink. Big condensed headings, deliberately a little rough.

### Boardroom

White, navy and one royal blue. Answer-first headings and tidy panels, the way a consultant lays out a page.

### Ink Brush

Rice paper, black ink and a small red seal. A lot of empty space, on purpose.

### Sticker

Sunny yellow, thick black outlines and hot pink. Every panel looks like a sticker.

### Swiss

White, black and one cobalt blue on a strict grid. Tight sans headings and a thick rule above everything.

### Terracotta

Pale sand, burnt clay and a warm serif. Unhurried and hand-made, like a menu you want to keep.

### Arctic

Pale ice blue with deep navy type and one cold accent. Clear, quiet and exact.

### Ember

Warm near-black with a glowing orange accent and rounded heavy type. Feels like something is about to start.

### Lagoon

Deep teal water with pale type and a sunny yellow accent. Relaxed, rounded and easy to follow.

### Gallery

Museum white, black serif type and a bronze accent. Very quiet, with space around every object.

### Candy

Pale pink with deep plum type and a hot magenta accent. Sweet, rounded and upbeat.

### Memo

Dark slate with a monospaced heading and a pale blue accent. Reads like a well-kept internal note.

### Orchard

Pale leaf green with dark type and an apple-red accent. Seasonal and a little rustic.

### Noir

Pure black, tall condensed capitals and a single line of gold. Cinematic and spare.

### Seaside

Pale sand, navy handwriting and a coral accent. Like a page from a holiday sketchbook.

### Denim

Denim blue with white type and an amber accent. Dependable and friendly, for news people need to act on.

### Mint

Pale mint with dark green type, a monospaced heading and one deep green accent. Fresh and precise.

## Or bring your brand

Give three colours, pick one of 36 ready palettes, or let your agent design the look. Layout and motion come from a style, fonts from any other, and pictures are drawn in your colours. Combinations that are hard to read are refused before anything is built.

## Slides that present themselves

The same content also builds a deck in one file: a script for every slide, a voice that reads it, pages that turn on their own, and exercises your audience can do. This one is live. Press Play, or use the arrows.

### More decks to open and click through

### Photosynthesis lesson

A lesson with a quiz and a matching exercise. Every slide has a speaker script.

### Recycling at home

A guide where the audience sorts items into bins. Every slide has a speaker script.

[Open the deck](https://motionforclaude.com/examples/decks/recycling-guide)

### Pricing change

An announcement with tabs for each plan. Every slide has a speaker script.

[Open the deck](https://motionforclaude.com/examples/decks/pricing-change)

### Market entry decision

A decision paper with a world map of the opportunity. Every slide has a speaker script.

[Open the deck](https://motionforclaude.com/examples/decks/market-entry)

The example deck that ships in the pack, built by the tools with no edits, narration included. Slide 4 has the chart filter, slides 8 to 12 are exercises. [More about narrated decks](https://motionforclaude.com/narrated-ppt).

### A script for every slide

Your agent writes what a presenter would say. Press N to read it, or export all of them as one document.

### A voice that turns the pages

Each slide reads its own script, then the deck moves on. Seek within a slide, or play at up to 2× speed.

### Charts that respond

Bar, line, pie, funnel, radar, scatter and a world map shaded by country. Hover for a value; with more than one series the deck gets filter buttons.

### Five kinds of exercise

Quizzes, true or false, drag to match, put in order, sort into groups. Each answers back at once and the last slide shows the score.

### Detail on demand

Tabs, rows that open when clicked, and tips that appear when you hover a term, for what not everyone needs to read.

### One file, and a real PowerPoint

Fonts, pictures and audio are inside the file, so it works offline. A .pptx export keeps text editable, charts native and scripts in the notes.

## Anthropic's Motion vs MotionKit

Same idea: animation written as code, so you can change it. A different door in.

| | Motion in Claude (Anthropic) | MotionKit (this site) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Who can use it | Team and Enterprise workspaces, in beta | Anyone with Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, on any plan |

| How it animates | Code-driven animation you can edit | Code-driven animation you can edit (HTML and GSAP on HyperFrames) |
| Output | Animation and MP4 export | MP4 video, an interactive deck, or PowerPoint, plus the source to keep and re-edit |
| Interaction | Not announced | Charts with filters, quizzes with feedback, drag-to-match |
| Voiceover | Not announced | Narration in 25 voices, 11 of them expressive with a tone you direct, timed to the scenes, from monthly credits |
| Sharing | Inside your workspace | A hosted page for each video, public or password-protected |
| Styles | Prompted per video | 37 ready-made styles, 36 palettes, or your own brand colours |
| Price | Included with Team or Enterprise seats | $19.9 or $49.9 a month, on top of the agent you already pay for |

Plan availability for Anthropic's feature is as reported at its beta launch on 8 October 2026 and can change. Check Anthropic's pricing page for the current state.

## Your numbers stay your numbers

### Editable to the last frame

The video is an HTML file with a timeline. Change a word, a number or a duration and render again.

### Private by default

The agent reads your file locally and the render runs locally. Nothing is uploaded unless you create a share link.

### Same input, same video

Rendered frame by frame with headless Chrome and FFmpeg, so a re-render matches the last one.

### Charts from real values

The skill tells the agent to use the source's figures exactly and never fill a chart with invented data.

### Voiceover included

Your agent writes the narration, you approve it, and the scenes are timed to the audio. 14 voices in 9 languages.

### Share with a link

One command turns a finished video into a hosted page, public or password-protected, to send to anyone.

## Questions people ask first

Is this the official Claude Motion?

No. Motion is a beta feature Anthropic ships inside Claude for Team and Enterprise workspaces. MotionKit is a separate, independent skill pack that gives a coding agent the same kind of ability. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.

Can I use Claude Motion on a Pro, Max or Free plan?

Anthropic's built-in Motion was announced for Team and Enterprise only. If you are on Pro or Max you already have Claude Code, and MotionKit adds document-to-motion there. On the Free plan you can use the pack with Codex or Cursor instead.

What do I actually get when I pay?

A licence key by email and one install command. It adds a skill to your agent: workflows for video, interactive decks and PowerPoint, 37 styles with a complete example project each (the clips on this page), tools that read your document, check every number against it and build decks and .pptx files, open-licensed fonts, music made from a description and 4 bundled music beds. The subscription also covers voiceover credits and hosted share links. You keep everything you make.

Does it work offline, and what happens if I cancel?

MotionKit needs an internet connection and an active subscription each time it runs: the tools check your licence before they start a project, build a deck or render, and each style is downloaded when you start a project with it. If you cancel, it keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then stops. The videos, decks and project files you already made stay on your computer and are yours.

Does my document get uploaded anywhere?

No. Your agent reads the file locally and HyperFrames renders locally with headless Chrome and FFmpeg. Our server checks your licence key each time a tool runs and sends the skill and style files. The one exception is your choice: if you create a share link, that finished MP4 is uploaded so we can host it.

How does voiceover work?

Your agent writes a narration line for each scene, shows you the lines and the cost, and after you approve it generates the audio and times the scenes to it. 1 credit is 1 character of narration. Creator includes 80,000 credits a month and Studio 240,000; credits reset on the first of each month and a failed generation is not charged.

Can it make slides or a PowerPoint?

Yes. From the same content your agent can build an interactive deck (one HTML file with charts you can filter, quizzes, drag-to-match and speaker notes) and a .pptx with editable text and native charts. Quizzes and matching are interactive in the deck; in PowerPoint the answers go in the notes.

Is music included?

Yes, two ways. Describe the music you want ("slow warm piano, hopeful") and a track is made for that video, instrumental and as long as the video, up to three minutes: 10 tracks a month on Creator, 40 on Studio. Four original music beds also come with the pack and do not count against anything. Both are yours to use in commercial work, and you can always use your own track instead.

What are share links?

A hosted page for a finished video or interactive deck. Run one command and you get a link to send to anyone, public or locked with a password. Creator includes 10 links, Studio includes 100 with view counts. Links stop working if the subscription ends, and you can remove one at any time.

What do I need installed?

A coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Antigravity or Kimi) and Node.js 22 or newer. That is all. The first render downloads HyperFrames through npx, and if FFmpeg is not on the computer the tools download a private copy once, with no Homebrew or admin rights.

Does it use my Claude usage?

Yes. The agent writes the animation code, so it uses your normal agent usage the same way any coding task does. Rendering has no quota. The only metered part is voiceover, which uses the credits in your plan.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time from the link in your receipt. The pack keeps working until the end of the paid month; after that the installer stops delivering updates. Videos you already made are yours.

What is HyperFrames?

An open-source HTML-to-video framework by HeyGen (Apache-2.0). MotionKit builds on it and is not affiliated with HeyGen.

## Make your first motion video tonight
