# MotionKit > MotionKit is an independent Claude Motion alternative. It is a paid skill pack that lets Claude Code, Codex or Cursor turn a document, script or notes into an editable, code-driven animated video and render it to MP4 locally with HyperFrames. It is not affiliated with Anthropic. ## Key facts - Anthropic launched Motion in beta on 8 October 2026 for Team and Enterprise workspaces. MotionKit is a separate product for people on Pro, Max or Free, or anyone who wants the source files. - Works with: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Antigravity, Kimi. Requires Node.js 22+; FFmpeg is downloaded automatically when missing. - Install: `npx -y motionkit-skills@latest setup` (needs a licence key). - Pricing: Creator $19.9/month, Studio $49.9/month. No free plan. 7-day refund if it does not run. - Documents and source files stay on the user's computer; a finished video is uploaded only if the user creates a share link. No render queue, no watermark. - Hosted share links: Creator includes 10, Studio includes 100 with view counts; public or password-protected. - Voiceover: narration in 25 voices (14 for nine languages, 11 expressive voices for any language with a tone direction), timed to the scenes. Creator includes 80,000 credits a month and Studio 240,000 (1 credit = 1 character). - Three outputs from one content file: MP4 video, narrated interactive deck (single HTML file with a speaker script per slide, seven chart kinds including a world map and scatter, quizzes, drag-to-match), and PowerPoint (.pptx with editable text and native charts). - Reads Word, PowerPoint, PDF, Markdown, web pages and shared Google Docs, including the numbers behind charts and the pictures inside the file, and checks every number on screen against the source. - Your own look: three brand colours or one of 36 ready palettes on any style's layout, with another style's fonts if wanted; contrast is checked and pictures follow the colours. - Pictures drawn in the style of the video: 60 a month on Creator, 200 on Studio. A scene can also show the user's own picture. - Music made from a description (10 tracks a month on Creator, 40 on Studio) and four original, synthesised music beds are included and cleared for commercial use. - Includes 37 motion styles: Paper Editorial, Blueprint, Kinetic Poster, Quiet Keynote, Chalk Lesson, Ledger, Terminal, Sunrise, Glass, Midnight, Pixel, Aubergine, Graph Paper, Pastel Shapes, Signal, Harbor, Newsprint, Botanical, Neon Night, Clay, Riso Print, Boardroom, Ink Brush, Sticker, Swiss, Terracotta, Arctic, Ember, Lagoon, Gallery, Candy, Memo, Orchard, Noir, Seaside, Denim, Mint. ## Pages - [Home](https://motionforclaude.com/): overview and comparison with Anthropic's Motion - [How to use Claude Motion](https://motionforclaude.com/how-to-use-claude-motion): both routes, step by step - [Claude Motion alternative](https://motionforclaude.com/claude-motion-alternative): who should use which - [Claude Motion templates](https://motionforclaude.com/claude-motion-templates): the 37 style specs and 36 palettes - [Examples](https://motionforclaude.com/claude-motion-examples): 141 example videos and 7 decks to open - [Claude Motion prompts](https://motionforclaude.com/claude-motion-prompts): 10 free prompts - [Open-source motion skills](https://motionforclaude.com/claude-code-motion-skills): a checked directory of free skills and engines, with licences - [Claude Motion not showing up?
