Docs
You mostly talk to your agent and it runs these for you. This page is the reference for when you want to know what is happening, or do a step yourself.
Install and sign in
npx -y motionkit-skills@latest setupPaste that into Claude Code, Codex or a terminal. Your browser opens; sign in with Google and press Authorize. The first time, you paste your licence key on that page once and the account remembers it. On a Mac the key is then stored in your keychain. The pack is installed for every agent found: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and Antigravity.
On a machine with no browser, pass the key instead: setup --key - reads it from standard input.

Tools your agent runs
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
ingest | Reads Word, PowerPoint, PDF, Markdown, text, a web page link or a shared Google Doc into chapters, points, numbers and tables, each with its line in the source |
panel | The local four-step page: pick a style, watch the build, review and edit on a timeline, play and share |
start | Starts a project in one style and downloads that style |
images | Draws the pictures the scenes ask for, in the look of the style |
compose | Builds the video from video.json: timing, motion, narration and music |
check | Compares every number on screen with the source; checks timing and exercise answers |
frames | Saves one picture per scene for review |
render | Renders the MP4 on your computer with HyperFrames |
build-deck | Builds the narrated, interactive deck from deck.json |
deck-to-pptx | Exports the deck as a PowerPoint file |
Every tool checks your subscription with our server before it runs, so they need a connection.
Scenes
A video is a list of scenes in video.json; a deck is a list in deck.json. Both share these: title, section, stat, chart (bar or line), steps, cards, compare, figure, quote, takeaway. A deck adds tabs, expand, quiz, match, sort, group, pie charts and hover tips.
Put stars around the words that carry the point, give a scene an image to have a picture drawn for it, and a narration to have it spoken.
Limits per plan
| Creator | Studio | |
|---|---|---|
| Computers | 2 | 10 |
| Voiceover credits a month | 80,000 | 240,000 |
| Pictures a month | 60 | 200 |
| Share links | 10 | 100, with statistics |
When something fails
- A tool says the subscription is not active. Renew on the pricing page, then run setup again.
- Render fails. Run
doctor. It names what is missing and how to install it. - A number is rejected. It is not in your source, or is written differently there. Fix the source or the scene, never the check.
- Behind a proxy. Set
HTTPS_PROXY; the tools pick it up.
