Make a PPT with Claude Code
Claude can write slide content in a chat window. Turning that into a deck that looks designed, has working charts and matches your numbers takes a little more structure. This is that structure.
Three ways to get slides from Claude
- Ask in chat and paste the outline into PowerPoint yourself. Fast, but you do the design.
- Ask Claude Code to write a deck as HTML. It works, and every deck looks different from the last.
- Use a skill that fixes the design and checks the content. That is what MotionKit does: 24 styles, a content format, and tools that build the deck from it.
What the skill adds
A storyboard before anything is built, so you fix the order and the claims while it is still cheap to change.
Limits per slide. A title over ten words or a list over five items is rejected, and the agent has to shorten or split it rather than shrink the type.
A check that every number on a slide appears in your source, written the same way.
Two outputs from the same content: a web deck with narration and exercises, and a .pptx with editable text and native charts.
Questions
Does this work in the Claude chat app?
No. It runs in Claude Code, Codex or Cursor on your computer, because it reads your files and writes the deck locally.
Do I need a Claude Team plan?
No. Any plan that includes Claude Code works, and so do Codex and Cursor.
Can I use my brand colours?
Yes. Give the agent your colours and font and it adapts the closest style.
